Up to 50% of properties now being sold ‘off-market’
For property buyers the old saying ‘what you don’t know, you don’t know’ is not ideal when you are looking to buy your dream home. Buyers want to know about every property available and many buyers are missing out since they are just not aware of all the properties for sale.
Most buyers see properties for sale on the major platforms, that is those that are being publicly advertised. However, there are a whole lot of properties being sold without being listed on those platforms and during Covid-19 there has been a significant upswing towards properties being offered for sale ‘off-market’ nationally. Recent media reports have mentioned up to 50% of properties are being sold ‘off-market’.
